I celebrated my birthday two days ago. What is it about birthdays that cause you to pause and take stock of your life?
As my sweet girls brought me homemade cards, and my husband showered me throughout the day, with things he knows I love, I pondered these nearly fifty years I’ve lived and was so grateful for the time I’ve been given on earth. It’s truly a gift.

How many of us live our years in the gray twilight?
We allow fear to dictate our days. We miss out on all that could be waiting for us by cowering within.
